Mekong Delta Homestay

Whilst Rich and Isy carried on cycling Maddy and I chilled in a cafe, not a bad life really. Did have problems ordering a coffee though as they spoke no English and my Vietnamese was very limited. On our way to our accommodation for night 2 in a home stay, I have to admit I really didn't know what to expect and after the night before wash"t sure that I wanted to get any closer to nature. Home stay was fantastic! another hammock for Maddy to read more of "the Diary of a Wimpy Kid", very chilled. Enjoying a relaxing drink before dinner, by the way the local beer in Vietnam was lovely (especially when you haven't had a beer in a while, i.e. months). We didn't realise we had to help cook dinner, this holiday was beginning to become a cooking holiday for Maddy who really was in her element. Everyone else had produced lovely Vietnamese pancakes. Yummy.
